At home or on the go, you’ll enjoy a range of convenient and straightforward charging options with an all-electric Mercedes-Benz.
 
Charge in your own garage with your Mercedes-Benz Wallbox charger. Or, when you’re out and about, recharge at a public charging station or fast charging station. With our digital services, you can easily find the nearest public charging station and access charging networks via Mercedes-Benz App. And on long journeys, Navigation with Electric Intelligence helps you to plan suitable charging stops and get to your destination as quickly as possible.

22 kW charging requires the use of three-phase power. Use of single-phase power has a maximum charging capacity of 7.2kW. Charging may vary and is influenced by many additional factors such as DNSP regulation, load, vehicles on-board charging capacity (for example, EQA currently has a maximum on-board AC capacity of 11kW), traffic, ambient temperature (maximum operating capacity of 50 degrees Celsius) and vehicle/battery capability and condition. To receive over-the-air Wallbox updates, the Mercedes me app, a personal Mercedes me ID and an internet connection are required.

 

To be able to use the “MB.CHARGE Public” Digital Extras service, a separate charging contract with a selected third-party provider is required for charging, payment and billing purposes. A personal Mercedes me ID and agreement to the Terms of Use for the Digital Extras services are required for use of the Digital Extras services. The respective vehicle must also be paired with the user account.

 

On and from 1 August 2024, all new Mercedes-Benz battery electric vehicles will be provided with a complimentary 1 year Chargefox subscription, activated as at date of first registration, for use at all Chargefox public charging stations in Australia. The offer is available until it is varied or discontinued. Ex demonstrator and used vehicles will receive balance of Chargefox subscription, if applicable. A personal Mercedes me ID and agreement to all relevant terms of use are required to use the services. In addition, the vehicle must be paired with a corresponding user account and relevant services activated (Mercedes-Benz Charge). You may be required to enter into an agreement with or accept third party terms and conditions. Internet connectivity is required. To facilitate the subscription, VIN and registration will be shared with Chargefox, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Excludes plug-in hybrid vehicles and commercial electric vans (eVito, eVito Tourer and eSprinter).

All full Battery Electric Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles purchased from August 1 2024 are eligible for a complimentary 1 year Chargefox subscription, subject to its terms and conditions, including Chargefox policy on reasonable usage and limitation to personal usage/prohibition on business use. This does not include any Plug-In Hybrid vehicles and commercial electric vans (eVito, eVito Tourer and eSprinter).

The 1 year free charging subscription with Chargefox includes all public DC & AC stations on the Chargefox network.

The 1 year free charging subscription with Chargefox is automatically activated upon the purchase and delivery of your new Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle.

 

Customers can activate Chargefox charging stations and start utilising these benefits through the MB.CHARGE Public service via their Mercedes-Benz Account.


Charging sessions can be activated via the Mercedes-Benz App, the in-vehicle MBUX system or the MB.CHARGE Public RFID card. For more information on MB.CHARGE Public click here.

Pre-owned Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles are still eligible for the 1 year free charging subscription with Chargefox if purchased within 1 year of the original new car delivery. In this case, customers will receive the remaining balance of the 1 year subscription.
