The all-new electric VLE.

Enjoy stress-free parking and manoeuvring thanks to rear-axle steering, allowing you to manoeuvre the VLE as agilely as a limousine. It reduces the curb-to-curb turning circle to 10.9 metres, giving the VLE a turning circle comparable with the new Mercedes-Benz CLA.

 

The new AIRMATIC with intelligent suspension control makes every journey a remarkably serene experience. This air suspension is also more intelligent when it comes to ride-height control. For the first time, it uses Google Maps data to keep the vehicle as low as possible for as long as possible, reducing aerodynamic drag and thus energy consumption. With the AIRMATIC air suspension, the vehicle’s ride height can be raised and lowered by 40mm for increased ground clearance or ease of entry. 

Ideal for every journey, the VLE offers an impressive range of more than 700 km (WLTP), perfect for long-range journeys. If you want to align the length of your coffee breaks with the charging times, order an espresso instead of a cappuccino, because the VLE can recharge up to 355km of range in just 15 minutes. More than 300kW standard fast-charging capability at 800-volt fast-charging stations, exemplary efficiency, and a powerful NMC battery technology with 115kWh make it possible. 

The rear compartment in the VLE with three to six seats can be used in a versatile way, for relaxing or working. With cup holders, folding tables, USB-C ports, a temperature-controlled storage compartment, and storage drawers under the seats, you enjoy a variety of functional equipment options. Whatever you have planned, everyone will keep a cool head, thanks to the optional automatic dual-zone climate control for the rear.

Seat Design Classic or Excellence (depending on the selected line) provides numerous configuration options for rear seating. Individual seats are available in three comfort levels: Comfort Seat (manual), Premium Comfort Seat and Grand Comfort Seat (electric). In addition, you can choose between manually and electrically adjustable three-seater comfort benches.

 

Individual seats and benches are available in various upholstery options, from fabric Quito with ARTICO man-made leather to ARTICO man-made leather / MICROCUT microfiber and Nappa leather. The colour palette includes black, ivory beige, and beech brown.

When you have your hands full, you don’t want to operate door handles. Easily open and close the two sliding doors and the EASY-PACK tailgate of the VLE via HANDS-FREE ACCESS, with just a kick. Another highlight in the VLE are the fully retractable windows in the sliding doors.

MBUX Rear Space Experience with an extendable 79.5cm (31.3") high-resolution display brings information and entertainment in the rear to a new level. Want to watch a movie, play games, or participate in a video conference? How about more than one at the same time. Thanks to the split-screen function, the display can be divided vertically and populated with different content. If you prefer to enjoy the view from the vehicle, the display moves back into its ‘garage’ above the driver’s and front passenger seats.

Enjoy optimised sound for every seat row. The Burmester® 3D surround sound system with 22 speakers, 750W of system power, and Dolby Atmos® will impress. The individually controlled speakers and powerful DSP amplifier pamper you with a perfectly tuned sound experience. The VLE features the latest MBUX, powered by Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS). It comes with artificial intelligence, combining multiple AI agents in one system. With this technology, the new MBUX Virtual Assistant revolutionises the relationship between the vehicle and the passengers in every seat, and appears as a living avatar on the MBUX Zero Layer, featuring dynamic colours and animations.

 

The high-performance MB.OS is a holistic digital ecosystem that includes many functions in the vehicle beyond navigation and infotainment. It enables extensive digitalisation, for example, regular Over-the-Air updates (OTA) that keep your VLE up to date, adding new features without visiting a Retailer.
