For further advice or to arrange an on-site consultation appointment, please contact our installation partner. They will be happy to check for you on-site whether a Wallbox can be installed and prepare an individual quote for you.

Step 5 - Use
With the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox, you can easily charge your electric Mercedes-Benz at home. The Mercedes-Benz Wallbox has a maximum charging power of 22 kW, 6 metres of cable and the universal Type-2 plug, you can charge your vehicle more safely and significantly faster than at a household socket.
The Mercedes me App makes it easy to start and stop the charging process with your smartphone. You receive information on the charging status as well as a transparent overview of your charging history. The Wallbox easily connects to the customer's own internet.

Important Safety Notice: Only certified professionals, such as qualified electricians, are allowed to install and maintain wallboxes in Australia. The installing electrician should ensure that the installation is completed in accordance with professional requirements and register the charging device as per the relevant guidelines. It is also important that you choose an electrician who is familiar with the approval requirements for vehicle charging devices and who can support you in obtaining the necessary approval as per relevant electrical guidelines.
Whilst you can charge your electric Mercedes-Benz from a household socket, for faster, more convenient and safer charging, we recommend the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox.
The Mercedes-Benz Wallbox has the technical requirements to receive software updates "Over-the-Air". This way, practical functions can also be added, such as intelligent integration into the customer's own energy supply and energy management system. In order to use the remote functions and to receive "over-the-air" updates for the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox, the Mercedes-Benz App, a personal Mercedes me ID and agreement to the terms of use for the Digital Extras services are required. To receive the "over-the-air" updates, you must agree to the respective update in the Mercedes-Benz App or give general consent in the Mercedes-Benz App to automatically receive all future updates. You can protect the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox from unauthorised access via the Mercedes-Benz App (both locking and unlocking). This is also alternatively available through the use of an RFID chip that can be activated in the Mercedes-Benz App. This is particularly useful if you want to install the Wallbox in a semi-public area.
It is not possible to charge several vehicles at the same time. Only one vehicle can be charged at one time with the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox.
The Mercedes-Benz Wallbox has been tested for compatibility and function with all current Mercedes-Benz models. The Wallbox has been developed according to the official IC 61851-1 standard and can therefore also be used with other vehicles that comply with this standard.
Do you have questions about our charging equipment?
You have the option of protecting the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox from unauthorized access via the Mercedes me App (Blocking and Unblocking). Alternatively, this is possible using an RFID card that must be activated in the Mercedes me app. This is particularly interesting if you want to install the wallbox in a semi-public space.
A wallbox can also be installed at a parking space in a rental garage. Your landlord or community of apartment owners must be informed of this and agree to the installation. It is recommended that you obtain written consent. In addition, the respective current legal regulations must always be observed.
Simultanous charging of several vehicles is not possible. Only one vehicle can be charged at a time with the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox.
