Typical Mercedes-Benz design.

The Mercedes-Benz electric models all share a recognisable look.

The design also takes you into the future. The Mercedes-Benz exterior design is clearly recognisable with features such as the typical light band at the rear. And in the interior you are welcomed by a completely new, electric look in an EQ-specific design: progressive luxury in a sporty form.

At Mercedes-Benz, we flicked the switch. We believe in an electric vehicle future, and we are creating it today. Mercedes-Benz is our cutting-edge Electric Intelligence (EQ) brand, encompassing a whole ecosystem of electric mobility products, services, technologies and innovations. It’s a future you can start experiencing today with our comprehensive range of currently available and upcoming all-electric vehicle models. Switch to Mercedes-Benz and enter the electric future today, the Mercedes-Benz way.

Battery electric vehicles, more commonly known as all-electric vehicles, are powered by a rechargeable battery that stores electricity. Their electric motors convert this electricity into mechanical energy that drives the vehicle. All-electric vehicles capture and store electricity through recharging and regenerative braking, instead of burning fuel to generate power.

The electric era is here, and our vehicles can help you seamlessly make the switch. They feature:

- Powerful and very efficient drivetrain that delivers an enhanced driving experience (e.g. maximum torque from a standstill).

- Reduced noise, vibration and harshness compared to internal combustion vehicles, and pre conditioning (heating and cooling) as a standard feature.

- Battery certificate* that guarantees the battery’s maximum capacity as a standard service.

A range of Digital Extras specifically created for our all-electric models can be found on the Mercedes-Benz app, such as the Individualisation Package, which creates immersive sound experiences to suit your vehicle.

To begin, simply create a Mercedes-Benz account, pair your vehicle to it and activate your complimentary Digital Extras in the Mercedes-Benz app. You can conveniently access these complimentary Digital Extras and add additional ones through your Mercedes-Benz account.

As part of Mercedes-Benz Ambition 2039, we aim to make our entire fleet of new vehicles net carbon-neutral along the entire value chain and over the vehicles' entire life cycle by the year 2039. At present, CO2 neutrality is a central criterion of our supply chain and production, and we implement various initiatives to power sustainability. For example, Mercedes-Benz Energy Stationary gives batteries a second life by recycling and remanufacturing them.

Our all-electric vehicles provide an ideal way to access a more sustainable electric mobility lifestyle.

The driving range of our all-electric vehicles varies across models and variants. Also, their range is influenced by factors such as individual driving style, load, fitted accessories, traffic conditions, wind, vehicle design, speed, ambient temperature, and road surface and conditions, as well as vehicle and battery conditions.

You can estimate the range of each of our all-electric models with our Range Calculator.

The advertised indicative driving range is based on legally required standardised testing and may not reflect real-world conditions. It is intended for comparison purposes only. The range of all-electric vehicles can vary based on factors noted above.

The charging time varies depending on factors such as the model’s battery capacity, the charging
method and the capability and capacity of the charging station. For example, the EQC takes around 40 minutes to go from 10% to 80% at a fast-charging station with direct current.

You can reduce your overall charging time by keeping your battery level between 20-80% of its capacity. To estimate charging times for each of our all-electric models, use our Charge Calculator.

All-electric Mercedes-Benz models need to be serviced every 25,000kms or after 1 year – whichever occurs first. They have fewer moving parts compared to vehicles with internal combustion engines, and feature regenerative braking systems that help extend the life of brake pads. Therefore, while routine maintenance is still required, all-electric vehicles may cost less to service over time.

Please see the Owner’s Manuals to learn more about vehicle specific service intervals.
