When it comes to your Mercedes-Benz, you’ll naturally want to keep it in the best condition possible and ensure it lives a long life. That’s why it’s important to have all the necessary checks performed regularly by specialists who understand the specific requirements of your model.

No matter what Mercedes-Benz you drive, there’s a service plan available to help maintain your vehicle to an exceptional standard. Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Services provide an easy customer experience and the peace of mind that comes with a servicing schedule that’s designed specifically for your model.

How does Mercedes-Benz servicing work?

When you purchase a new Mercedes-Benz, you have the option to purchase a service plan, with a choice to cover a three, four or five-year term.

For Mercedes-Benz passenger models with a combustion engine, your service plan will include all work and maintenance checks stipulated in the relevant Mercedes-Benz Digital Service Booklet (DSB), plus replacement at planned intervals of items including brake fluid, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, coolant, transmission oil and filter, and the dust/cabin filter. For all-electric Mercedes-Benz models, all work and safety checks stipulated in the relevant Mercedes-Benz DSB will be carried out, and brake fluid and the cabin/dust filter will be replaced as required.

Mercedes-Benz administers servicing via two different packages – Service A and Service B, each with a different schedule of checks. For combustion vehicles, these may include an oil change and replacement components[1], plus standard checks. For our all-electric and hybrid models, trained technicians will examine specific components such as the high-voltage battery, charge socket and charging cable.

How often should I service my Mercedes-Benz?

Service intervals will be based on a prescribed number of kilometres travelled, or on the time between services – whichever one comes first. The service interval for most Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles is one year or 25,000km. However, some models require servicing after 20,000km, 15,000km or 10,000km, you can visit the Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Services page here for more details.

As a schedule service approaches, you’ll be prompted by a notification on your vehicle display. You can also keep track of service intervals via the Mercedes me app on your smartphone[2].

Once connected to your vehicle, the app can keep track of the time until the next service interval, plus showing the status of key items such as battery charge, brake fluid and coolant levels. Using the companion Mercedes me Service App, you can also digitally book your next service at the Mercedes-Benz retailer of your choice.

What if I’m in a hurry?

We know it can be inconvenient to spend the day – or even just a few hours – without your car. There are jobs to go, groceries to buy, kids to pick up from school… the list goes on.

If you’re struggling to find time to service your car within your busy schedule, Mercedes-Benz offers a Premium Express Service enabling servicing in just 90 minutes, or even less[3]. Utilising dedicated service bays, process efficiencies and attention to detail, two Premium Express Service technicians can complete Service A in as little as 60 minutes, while Service B takes around 90 minutes.

During this time, you’ll have access to on-premise lounge facilities, including Wi-Fi access and refreshments. You can sit back and relax knowing you’ve lost hardly any time at all.

What if I own a pre-owned Mercedes-Benz vehicle?

Should you own a pre-owned Mercedes-Benz, or purchase one, you can still enjoy all the peace of mind of certified Mercedes-Benz servicing. Simply make an online service booking, or phone your preferred Mercedes-Benz retailer and speak to a Service Department representative to discuss the specific servicing requirements of your model.

You can also enjoy many of the benefits of connecting your vehicle to the Mercedes me App, which allows you to track your vehicle’s servicing requirements from a connected device. It also delivers a Digital Service Report after each service, providing complete data on the service work that was carried out.

Whatever the model and age of your Mercedes-Benz, there’s a servicing option to ensure you can continue to enjoy safe, secure ownership, and maintain that premium Mercedes-Benz feeling.
