Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle FAQ's.
EQ vehicles produce no tailpipe emissions and are therefore a more sustainable mobility option. They may also require less maintenance than traditional vehicles.
There are several factors that affect the range of an EQ vehicle, such as how fast you drive, whether it’s city or freeway travel and which model you’re driving. As a benchmark, the EQC has an indicative range of up to 400km.
EQ vehicles can be ordered online or at an authorised EQ Agent. Only selected agents can deliver EQ vehicles. As such, when ordering an EQ vehicle online, only EQ Agents will be available to select for delivery.
At this point in time, EQ Vehicles can be purchased in all states and territories with the exception of customers which reside in the Northern Territory.
Yes, all authorised EQ Agents will have demonstrator vehicles available for you to test drive. Test drive bookings can be made online or at an Agent at any time.
EQ vehicles come with a 5 year/unlimited kilometre Manufacturer Vehicle warranty and an 8 year/160,000kms High Voltage (HV) battery warranty. Kilometre based restrictions apply if you use your vehicle for commercial application. Refer to the Owner Protection Plan or contact an EQ Agent for further details.
The time it takes to charge an EQ vehicle depends on the types of charging used, as well as additional factors such as state of the battery and ambient temperature. Please contact your preferred EQ Agent for more information.
A charging cable for a standard domestic power outlet is provided with the EQ vehicle. A Mercedes-Benz Wallbox can be purchased and installed for faster charge times. The Mercedes-Benz Wallbox can be purchased with the vehicle or after delivery of the vehicle.
