These LED fields provide a range of different lighting functions, while also enabling the vehicle’s communication and interaction with the outside world. For example, the fields display blue if the F 015 is driving autonomously, or white when it’s controlled manually. 

The low-slung front end, smoothly streamlined roof line, flat front windscreen and road-hugging rear give the F 015 Luxury in Motion an extended and decidedly dynamic silhouette. Its unusually large wheelbase and short overhangs make it clear that the F 015 Luxury in Motion was designed to provide passengers with the maximum possible interior space.

The interior of the F 015 Luxury in Motion provides a lounge-like space with a comforting ambience characterised by elegance, quality and lightness. Sensual flowing transitions and warm materials such as walnut wood in a three-dimensional veneer and soft white nappa leather contrast with cool and technical metal and glass surfaces.

The pivotal feature of the innovative interior concept is the variable seating system, with four rotating lounge chairs that allow a face-to-face seating configuration. To make getting in and out of the car easier, the electrically powered seats swing outwards by 30 degrees as soon as the doors are opened. If necessary, the driver and front-seat passenger can also turn their eyes and attention towards the front to allow for manual driving, when the steering wheel extends automatically from the dashboard.
