Mercedes-Benz App makes it easy to start and stop the charging process with your smartphone. You receive information on the charging status as well as a transparent overview of your charging history. The Wallbox easily connects to the customer's own internet.

The installing electrician should ensure that the installation is completed in accordance with professional requirements and register the charging device as per the relevant guidelines. It is also important that you choose an electrician who is familiar with the approval requirements for vehicle charging devices and who can support you in obtaining the necessary approval as per relevant electrical guidelines.
You can protect the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox from unauthorised access via the Mercedes-Benz App (both locking and unlocking). This is also alternatively available through the use of an RFID chip that can be activated in the Mercedes-Benz app. This is particularly useful if you want to install the Wallbox in a semi-public area.
The Mercedes-Benz Wallbox has been tested for compatibility and function with all current Mercedes-Benz models. The Wallbox has been developed according to the official IC 61851-1 standard and can therefore also be used with other vehicles that comply with this standard.
