Presenting with a compact, powerful silhouette in perfectly balanced proportions, the car’s new composite aluminium body structure allows a 2+2 seating configuration for the first time, creating an enhanced sense of space for drivers and passengers, and plenty of room for luggage.
Aerodynamics have been elevated in the new design to ensure the Coupé’s tight, responsive drive – the AIRPANEL air control system, an automatically operable rear spoiler, and a patented underbody element that helps to suck the car to the road are significant new efficiency elements.
For the first time, the AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ Coupé is equipped with fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive. The intelligent technology delivers torque distribution on the front and rear axle to ensure optimum traction and stability under almost any conditions. AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with active roll stabilisation enables an even smoother drive.
Extra power (430kW) and torque (maximum 800 Nm) is delivered via the latest generation of the celebrated Mercedes-AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine, assembled to AMG’s rigorous standards under the ‘One Man, One Engine’ principle and covering the 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.2 seconds.

At the heart of the interior is the 11.9-inch, portrait-shaped multimedia touchscreen with intuitive MBUX infotainment system. It offers extensive AMG-specific content in five display styles, and exclusive sports-car suitable menu items such as ‘AMG Performance’ or ‘AMG TRACK PACE’.
In the AMG Performance menu, for example, the driver can call up a wide range of data from output, torque or lateral acceleration to the power distribution of the all-wheel drive or the current vehicle condition with tyre pressure and fluid temperatures. The driver’s head-up display projects requested information in three dimensions to appear to interact with the current real driving situation.
