Mercedes-Benz vehicles have some of the longest service intervals in the Australian luxury car market. This means more driving for less frequent visits to the workshop compared to other luxury marques. Service intervals depend on vehicle type. Every service is followed up by a survey to give you the opportunity to provide feedback to the dealership. This survey score contributes to the overall Customer Satisfaction Index rating for Mercedes-Benz.

Mercedes-Benz service intervals have been set to ensure you get the best performance from your vehicle over its life.

  • All engines except AMG and V12 variants: 25,000km / 1 year
  • AMG and V12 variants: 20,000km / 1 year
  • AMG V12 variants: 15,000km / 1 year
  • Intervals set 01/05/2014.

If you would like extended coverage with your Mercedes-Benz, a Platinum Service Plan covers you for everything under a Silver Plan, as well as front brake discs, brake pads and wiper inserts (where applicable), making your ownership experience as stress-free as your driving experience.

While you are on the road, extended Road Care is now included in all our 4th and 5th year Silver and Platinum packages, giving you further coverage when you need it most.

Mercedes-Benz Road Care is one of the most comprehensive emergency roadside assistance and accident assistance services available in Australia.

As the proud owner of a new Mercedes-Benz, you automatically receive complimentary Mercedes-Benz Road Care for the duration of the Mercedes-Benz 3 year Owner Protection Plan period. Mercedes-Benz Road Care membership for Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles will be the same duration as the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles warranty period. Owners can continue to enjoy the benefits of Mercedes-Benz Road Care after the warranty period by purchasing an annual membership.

Mercedes-Benz Road Care is a dedicated program which provides 24 hour roadside and accident assistance services. Mercedes-Benz Road Care offers assistance with flat tyres, flat or faulty batteries, emergency fuel, loss of keys and more to look after all your driving needs. We may also provide emergency accommodation, a replacement vehicle and towing as well as medical assistance subject to the conditions contained below.

When an accident occurs and the vehicle is seriously damaged, the priority for rescue services is to free the occupants.

This can be extremely dangerous for both occupants and first responders since the vehicle is equipped with many components which are potentially hazardous after an accident, such as high voltage wiring, fuel lines and airbags. While Mercedes-Benz information has been available to rescue teams for decades, it was traditionally provided in a printed format or downloadable as a .pdf document and stored inside the vehicle. This can be difficult and time consuming to access if the car is severely damaged.

Today, it can be accessed by scanning a QR code with a smartphone or tablet, providing immediate access to a detailed rescue card which contains all of the structural details specific to a vehicle model. This includes the location of airbags, battery, high strength steel (HSLA) and fuel tank, to name a few, so emergency services have the necessary information available to minimise the risks involved when freeing occupants.

Thanks to this simple but significant solution, emergency services at the scene have a key advantage in the fight against time. Using the QR code, they can respond more quickly. In an emergency, these stickers can help to save lives.

Since the end of 2013, Mercedes-Benz vehicles have progressively been fitted with QR code rescue stickers during production. Vehicles produced from 1990 which do not have QR code rescue stickers can now be retrofitted at your authorised Mercedes-Benz dealership.

To check whether your vehicle is fitted with QR code rescue stickers, you can inspect the fuel filler door or the opposite B-pillar of your vehicle.
