*22 kW charging requires the use of three-phase power. Use of single-phase power has a maximum charging capacity of 7.2kW. Charging may vary and is influenced by many additional factors such as DNSP regulation, load, vehicles on-board charging capacity (for example, eVito currently has a maximum on-board AC capacity of 11kW), traffic, ambient temperature (maximum operating capacity of 50 degrees Celsius) and vehicle/battery capability and condition. To receive over-the-air Wallbox updates, the Mercedes-Benz app, a personal Mercedes me ID and an internet connection are required.
For convenient home charging, we recommend the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox. With up to 22 kW of charging power and a 6-metre cable, it’s built for everyday use. Installation must be completed by a certified electrician.
Your Wallbox must be installed by a certified electrician. JET Charge will handle the full process from setup to testing.
The Mercedes-Benz Wallbox has the technical requirements to receive software updates "Over-the-Air". This way, practical functions can also be added, such as intelligent integration into the customer's own energy supply and energy management system. In order to use the remote functions and to receive "over-the-air" updates for the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox, the Mercedes-Benz App, a personal Mercedes me ID and agreement to the terms of use for the Mercedes me Connect services are required. To receive the "over-the-air" updates, you must agree to the respective update in the Mercedes-Benz App or give general consent in the Mercedes-Benz App to automatically receive all future updates. Automatic wallbox updates can also be switched on within the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox app within Mercedes Me. To perform open the Mercedes-Benz App, go to main menu and click Mercedes-Benz Wallbox, under settings section click over-the-air updates.
You can protect the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox from unauthorised access via the Mercedes-Benz App(both locking and unlocking). This is also alternatively available through the use of an RFID chip that can be activated in the Mercedes-Benz App. This is particularly useful if you want to install the Wallbox in a semi-public area.
It is not possible to charge several vehicles at the same time. Only one vehicle can be charged at one time with the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox.
