Takata Airbag Recall: Vito/Viano.
A stop-drive notice is now in effect for certain Mercedes-Benz Vito and Viano (639) vehicles, built between 2003 and 2006, due to the potential fitment of faulty Takata airbags during previous repairs. These airbags may pose a serious risk of injury or death in the event of a collision.
If you own or drive an affected vehicle, do not drive it until the airbags have been inspected and, if necessary, replaced. Replacement airbags are available free of charge at authorised Mercedes-Benz Retailers.
