The V-Class gets a Makeover

The V-Class gets a makeover.

Imagine if you could make a first impression every time. Borrowing from the style and comfort of the S-Class, the V-Class facelift brings a fresh look, enhanced safety and striking design. So whether you’re ferrying your family or driving for work, the versatile Mercedes-Benz V-Class always delivers.

Head-turning design

The V-Class’ striking new front-end is designed for style and vehicle performance. The new bumper, with its cool-air intake makes a bold statement. And the AMG line, available as an option, features a diamond radiator grille with chrome pins, creating a sleek, sporty appearance.

Outside, three new optional metallic paint colours - graphite grey, selenite grey and hyazinth red - give you even more chances to style your V-Class. The V-Class also now comes standard with two new light-alloy wheel designs in 17” for the V 220 d, and 18” for the V 250 d.

Inside, the new trim gives the interior a luxurious, fresh look. The V 220 d now features a high gloss black finish and newly-designed air vents with a sporty turbine appearance. The V 250 d also comes with a double stripe finish and the option of new tartufo nappa leather.1

Ride in comfort

Borrowing from the S-Class, the facelift matches luxury with comfort, offering the option of premium seats with full reclining function, plus back massage and climatisation. And with three different massage intensities and climate control stages, the V-Class is ready to pamper.

Even safer

Whether you’re driving with family or transporting passengers for work, the V-Class now comes with Active Brake Assist as standard, giving you peace of mind on the road. ABA may detect the risk of collision with a vehicle or obstacle in front of you, and warn you via audible alerts.

In the correct conditions, if you brake, the system may add additional braking pressure. If you don’t respond, Active Brake Assist may automatically activate the emergency braking system.2

Drivers taking to the road at night will appreciate Highbeam Assist Plus, which comes standard on the V 250 d and optional on the V 220 d. This clever, adaptive technology helps you to always see what’s ahead - even on winding country roads - while reducing the possibility of distracting other drivers.

Sensors are used to detect oncoming traffic and dip your headlamps intelligently from high-beam to low, keeping you focused on the road and other drivers safe.

Facing the future

The V-Class gives you a striking new design and new levels of comfort, with the same exceptional power to make driving feel effortless - thanks to a 2.1 litre four-cylinder diesel engine. With 7G-TRONIC 7-speed automatic as standard, the V 220 d generates 120 kW of power and 380 Nm of torque. The V 250 d provides 140 kW of power and 440 Nm of torque.

Diane Tarr, Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Vans Australia and New Zealand, says the V-Class is a versatile and multi-talented vehicle, which brings a fresh look and new safety technology.

“It’s for families with an active lifestyle who need space and comfort, but don’t want to forgo luxury and safety. Plus it has proven to be a popular choice for business operators who need to transport people in a stylish, sophisticated way," she said.
