Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC can help maintain a set distance to the vehicle ahead when driving on a highway or in stop-start traffic. The system accelerates the vehicle by itself and brakes with a maximum of half the vehicle's braking power in order to maintain a safe distance.

Traffic Sign Assist can help support the driver by continually displaying any detected speed limits, "no-entry" signs, "no-overtaking" restrictions, as well as the lifting of these restrictions, on the instrument cluster display and the media display. This particularly helps on journeys with frequently changing speed limits, for instance with road works.

Active Lane Keeping Assist monitors the area ahead of your vehicle and can help prevent you from unintentionally leaving your lane. The system can guide you back into your lane by means of a lane-corrective steering intervention and additionally warn you with haptic feedback on the steering wheel.

Thanks to their obvious flashing, the adaptive brake lights can significantly improve the reaction time of drivers in vehicles behind and help prevent rear-end collisions. The flashing brake lights are activated if your speed is above 50 km/h.

The tyre pressure monitoring system checks the pressure of all the tyres. It can alert the driver to a loss of pressure thus increasing driving safety and tyre life. The correct tyre pressure plays an important role in making steering and braking as safe and comfortable as possible.
