We love people who are in the business of travelling in style and leading Australian stylist Megan Morton certainly fits the description. She’s among the most respected interior stylists in the country and has had the pleasure of working with the likes of Vogue Living and Vanity Fair.

As someone who prides herself on creating spaces ‘that make people obscenely happy’, Morton decided to share her passion with budding design enthusiasts and open The School, offering short courses to those who want to follow in her fashionable footsteps. The classes have gained international interest and she’s held sessions in locations including New York. She will soon take a wide-eyed group of students on an excursion to Paris Design Week.

But when her feet are on the ground in Australia, she’s often visiting homes, interpreting their history and applying her expertise accordingly.

It’s no surprise that with all of her professional commitments, plus her role as mother of three children, Sydney-based Morton is frequently jumping behind the wheel to get from one job to the next, often with the additional challenge of transporting a delicate artwork or one-off piece of designer furniture.

But as a friend of Mercedes-Benz Vans, Morton is getting around in style. The new ambassador for the Vito, has put her signature stamp on her vehicle, which has a custom decal featuring illustrations from her latest book It’s Beautiful Here.

When all of the personal touches had been completed, Morton was thrilled. ‘As someone who always has one or eleven things going on, the opportunity to support the mobility of my business with the Vito is an incredibly exciting one. I’ve always admired the quality and timelessness of Mercedes-Benz Vans so being able to collaborate with the brand and put a personal stamp on my own Vito has been a real pleasure,’ she says.

The way Morton has styled her Vito, with her signature logo and floral details, shows that the way a Mercedes-Benz Van is used can vary as much as the business owners driving them. Morton’s Van is an extension of her brand, a reminder that she doesn’t leave style at work. She moves with it. All day, every day.

According to Mercedes Benz-Vans Australia and New Zealand Managing Director Diane Tarr, Morton is an ideal friend of the brand. Her passion and dedication to her small business reflect that of other small business owners such as florists, landscape designers, homewares and retail business owners and photographers. ‘We want to make the Vito the vehicle of choice for businesses that are ‘on the move’ and Megan exemplifies this characteristic. We have no doubt she will be taking the Vito to unique and memorable new places,’ Tarr says.
