It’s a dog’s (van)life.

Hitting the road with a mate is great, but #vanlife can be a great adventure for four-legged friends, too. But before you and your dog hit the highway, here’s a few tips.

First things first. You need to make sure your dog is comfortable taking a decent-sized journey. If your pup hasn’t had much experience being on the move for over an hour at a time, it’s best to take a few shorter trips to get them set.

Most importantly, and in case of an emergency, you need to make sure they’re microchipped and that your mobile number is clearly displayed on their collar.

And you need to play by the rules. Make sure you check what the regulations are regarding animals at any places you plan on stopping - especially beaches, bushland and national parks.
