Mercedes-EQ is the electric vehicle (EV) sub-brand for Mercedes-Benz and sits at the heart of the company’s bold plan to be all-electric by the end of the decade. This ambitious plan includes launching a vehicle with battery-electric capabilities into every segment where it competes within the very near future. So let’s take a closer look at the electric vehicles that are already here and future arrivals with the Mercedes-EQ family.
Better battery packs equals longer driving range
All models in the Mercedes-EQ range are equipped with state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery packs, with indicative driving ranges starting from just over 400km for the EQA and stretching all the way up to around 500km for the high-performance Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+.
Charging at home or on the go
Charging your Mercedes-EQ electric vehicle is as simple as plugging in with the provided cable and powering up.
Tracking down public AC chargers or DC fast chargers can be easily done via the MBUX multimedia system in every Mercedes-EQ vehicle, or via the Mercedes me Connect app.
If, like many people, you prefer the convenience of being able to charge at home, Mercedes-Benz also offers a dedicated Wallbox charger which can deliver an adjustable charging capacity of up to 7.2 kW for single-phase power and 22 kW for three-phase power.
