These include special test procedures that simulate real-life challenges in road traffic as well as material tests using cutting-edge X-ray equipment.
High-sheen finish or polished wheels undergo additional tests such as exposure to highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day alternating climate programme. Only after all the tests have been passed may the wheels then be included in the range of genuine Mercedes-Benz forged wheels.
AMG forged wheels are supplied without tyres, hub caps, decorative valve caps, wheel bolts or wheel locks.
