Mercedes-Benz Vans has been recognised in two categories in the 2016 Delivery Magazine Awards, reaffirming its market-leading position within the van segment.
The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter was awarded the Large Van of the Year, while the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Transfer Minibus was named the People Mover of the Year.
According to Delivery Magazine, both vehicles are exemplary models; not just for their comfort and style, but also their safety features including Crosswind Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, driver and passenger airbags and a rear-view camera. In addition, low levels of interior noise and wide sliding doors were commended.
It was a notable achievement for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, which this year celebrates 20 years. In addition, these awards mark the fourth consecutive year the Sprinter Van has won the award. Two decades after its launch, it continues to set the commercial van standard.
Diane Tarr, Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Vans accepted both awards from Delivery Magazine’s Managing Editor Chris Mullett.
‘We are delighted to accept two awards from Delivery Magazine. At Mercedes-Benz Vans we pride ourselves on consistent innovation and ensuring our customers have access to the best in safety, comfort and efficiency,’ Ms Tarr said.
‘Our Sprinter and Sprinter Transfer Minibus continue to set the benchmark and will continue to ensure our customers enjoy the best in Mercedes-Benz quality and value,’ she added.
