The Zetros in the public service sector

An efficient clearing concept

The Zetros combines off-road capabilities, a high payload capacity and robust technology to produce a cutting-edge truck concept. In winter service in particular, its CBE technology and long wheelbase ensures smooth and safe driving.

With its low seating position behind the front axle, the Zetros offers a clear overview of the entire working area. This makes it possible to use wide snow ploughs offering clearance widths of up to 6 metres.

Thanks to high payloads for vehicles with capacities up to 5 m³ (with 1800 litres of saline solution for 4x4) and 6 m³, this state-of-the-art CBE truck achieves large clearing loops. Winter service equipment is available as an option ex factory. This could include a front mounting plate, dual-circuit hydraulic system (2 or 4-cell), heated front windscreen, heated seats or air conditioner.

A generously proportioned climate-controlled cab is a key advantage of the Zetros. The removal of the engine tunnel means that the cab can accommodate up to three persons, who can enter/exit the cab on the (safer) co-driver side. Flexible swap body systems, e.g. crane or tipper body, and a permissible GVW of 18 or 27 tonnes make the Zetros the ideal emergency service vehicle (special weighting available for the 4x4 vehicle in winter service).
