It’s not exactly common knowledge that you can decant white wine as well as red. This additional breathing enables many white wines to develop further nuances when it comes to their flavour. Thanks to the finely perforated sieve in the neck of the decanter carafe made of hand-blown glass, which can serve as a wine carafe and wine cooler, the wine is thoroughly and gently ventilated as it is being poured in. It flows through the small holes and down the walls of the decanter, effectively allowing the wine to breathe and develop its full aroma. The base is a removable cooling element that is simply placed in the freezer compartment before use and that then keeps the wine pleasantly cool for hours thanks to the integrated cooling gel. This can be stored on a permanent basis in the refrigerator compartment if required, so that even unexpected visits can be enjoyed with wine at the perfect temperature. As well as pouring without losing a drop, the decanter carafe made for Mercedes-Benz by eva solo also impresses thanks to its easy cleaning, as all parts are dishwasher resistant.
