Our compliance with strict European standards for CO2 vehicle emissions is a given. Nevertheless, we engage in further, voluntary reductions of CO2 vehicle emissions - ensuring the vehicles we deliver to you are some of the most environmentally advanced you can buy.

Carbon Offsetting

Reducing the strain on the environment is only possible if everyone involved contributes to the effort - and that includes legislators, public authorities, automakers and drivers.

Apart from driving a vehicle built with the environment in mind, there are other ways you can reduce carbon dioxide produced every time you drive. One such way is engaging in carbon offsetting.

Mercedes-Benz Cars gives all of our new vehicle customers an introduction to carbon offsetting. Every single new Mercedes-Benz car or smart car sold after January 2007, has its first 6 months of carbon emissions offset by Climate Positive, our carbon offset partner.
